The White Lion is a pub that Iâ¬"ll always see through somewhat rose-tinted specs ⬠my family and I always go for a meal on the night before Christmas, and I swear I once saw out of the window Father Christmasâ¬"s sleigh pass over in the far distant sky... Anyway, [wipes away tear] since then I have always been impressed by the White Lion, with its excellent inviting family atmosphere and the really nice food on offer. They have some decent live music on a Friday and other events, like a Saturday poker night, and the drinks on offer havenâ¬"t changed much over the years, which to be honest is good since they always maintained a decent range with some excellent beers.
